It is a dream of many to start their own business and quite often it just comes from a passion for helping people.
This is true for one of our latest start up clients, Scott Anderson. Scott has been helping families all over Sunderland by promoting what is going on in the region. He visited the North East Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) as it became time consuming for him to keep this up as a hobby and he wondered if it could become a business.
His efforts have won him and his business, I’m Bored North East, a nomination not only for the Sunderland Echo Portfolio Awards but also the NatWest SE100 National Business Awards for the Storyteller Award which will see Scott travel to London for the award ceremony.
Scott insists that the main aim of his business is to “make memories” and to enjoy what Sunderland and the region has to offer.
