What does your organisation do?
We are a local DAB radio station that broadcasts across South Durham, including Newton Aycliffe, Bishop Auckland, and Darlington.
We are available on DAB radios at home and in cars, as well as on Smart Speakers Alexa ‘Play Alpha Radio’, online at alpharadio.co.uk, and on smart TVs via the free ‘RadioPlayer’ App, as well as on mobile devices using the free “TuneIn” and “MyTuner” apps.
Who do you help?
We provide free radio advertisements to community groups, charities, and CIC’s, and our broadcasts include public information advertisements from the NHS, etc., as well as great music 24 hours a day.
