Christmas is coming and we’re getting in the festive spirit by organising the biggest meet-up of Social Entrepreneurs across the region with our ‘Connecting for Christmas’ networking session.
Whether you’re an established social enterprise, you’re just about to launch, or you’re still in the dream phase, the Connecting for Good Network is an exciting opportunity to meet likeminded entrepreneurs who have a passion for making positive change in your local area.
Facilitated by Anthony McDermott, Social Enterprise Business Adviser at the North East BIC, ‘Connecting for Christmas’ will take place on Thursday 19th December, 10:00-13:00 here at the BIC in Sunderland.
We can’t wait for you join us and you can look forward to the following:-
- We’ll be joined by representatives from the National Lottery Awards for All team who will share information, hints and tips on what funding is available and how your social enterprise stands a better chance at attaining it.
- The Big Issue Invest team will also be visiting and will explain how your business can source and apply for growth investment.
- A Q and A session with three social entrepreneurs sharing their own personal journeys, best practice and giving clues on how you can succeed too featuring Lindsay Forbes from Laconic Jewellery, Dan Makaveli from Diegos CIC/Media Savvy CIC and Phil Drew from Side by Side Arts CIC.
- A Christmas buffet is also included!
