A portfolio business which offers strategic communications and copywriting, as well as a creative practitioner service has set up at the North East BIC in Sunderland.
Flair Communications and Creative Arts offers a range of communications services and creative writing workshops for schools and local communities for children aged between five and 11.
Founded by Kate Russell, Flair also offers bite sized training workshops in subjects including social media strategy, blog writing and the pros and cons of using AI for generative content.
Kate wanted to create a unique way of working that represented her strong commercial experience in strategic communications and PR, but also her creative practitioner skills as a writer and her passion for promoting creativity and access to the arts for young people and the benefits this brings to local communities and individual wellbeing.
Kate started the business with support from BIC business adviser John Forth. The free start-up support from the BIC forms part of the Enterprising Sunderland project.
