W J R Financial Solutions have moved into the North East Business and Innovation Centre’s (BIC) 14 acre site as they gear up for a busy 2015.
Directors John Sutcliffe and Richard Hardy were originally based in a nearby Sunderland business park. Driving past the
BIC every day they decided to enquire about office space. John said:
“It just made perfect sense to move to the BIC, it was cost effective especially given the size of office we have. Not to mention the great view overlooking the river.
“We outsource a lot of our services, so moving here is perfect for us because not only will the BIC look after our calls they also have a fantastic range of meeting rooms where we can bring our clients.
“In fact the meeting room provision is such that we decided to remove an internal meeting room within our office thus making it bigger and giving us more room to grow whilst still having excellent facilities on site in which to meet and greet our clients.”
The company became established in 1991 and moved over to True Potential, one of the most innovative financial services groups in the UK today. John and Richard decided to relaunch W J R Financial Solutions in January last year so they could offer a wider variety of independent and impartial advice to clients specialising in pensions and auto enrolment, John continues:
“We want to be independent and to ensure that we give everyone the best information available to them so therefore it became the obvious choice to relaunch as W J R.
“In the financial world you have to establish the business and then get authorised by the FCA which can take up to 12 months, so that is what we have been doing for the past year.
“Now it is time to start afresh for 2015 and where better to do so than our new offices at the BIC.”
John is running an auto enrolment pension seminar here at the BIC on 29 January 2015.
