Further and Higher Education provider Redcar & Cleveland College has appointed creative communications company, Press Ahead, to deliver a fully integrated range of marketing services that will see the College build on successes whilst communicating its unique offer in the market place.
Press Ahead, based at the North East Business and Innovation Centre (BIC), has been tasked with managing all marketing and communication, from PR and social media, to creative development and media planning and buying. This new partnership will see Press Ahead support the College’s ambitious plans for growth, whilst aligning all communication around its wide range of services and products.
Kieron Goldsborough, managing director at Press Ahead, said: “We really admire the work of Redcar & Cleveland College, in particular the way in which they align their courses and wider service provision to the needs of the local community, local businesses and the jobs market. It is clear to anyone who visits the campus and witnesses first-hand the amazing facilities they have on offer, that Redcar & Cleveland College, more than any other provider in the area, really is the place to study to build the foundations of a fantastic future. We feel as though we have an outstanding opportunity to help the college to better communicate this.”
John Chance, acting principal at Redcar & Cleveland College, said: “We’re thrilled to have Press Ahead on board. We will be working closely together to deliver a programme of activity specifically devised to establish the link between study at Redcar & Cleveland College and eventual career paths. As a vocational college with a wide range of courses available, we have a superb track record and are keen to promote this more widely whilst showcasing the quality learning opportunities on offer.”
Part of the work that Press Ahead will be delivering will involve officially launching the College’s oil and gas academy, which is supported by the oil and gas sector and Teesside University. This will not only cement the College’s reputation in the provision of international training, but will also drive further investment into the region.
Press Ahead will also be working with the College to launch a number of other fantastic new initiatives and facilities, including the outstanding new health and social care wing.
